The problem is that the nvidia graphics driver installs its opengl library
libGL.so.1 into /usr/X11R6/lib64, which is by default not in the dynamic linker
path.
In the opposite several package like steam requires the installation of the
Mesa package and some of its dependencies like Mesa-libGL1-9.2.2-312.1.x86_64,
which installs libGL.so.1 into /usr/lib64/, which is in the dynamic linker
path.
Therefore glxinfo do not use libGL.so.1 from the nvidia driver.
I solved this problem by adding /usr/X11R6/lib64 to the dynamic linker path
before /usr/lib64 in /etc/ld.so.conf and did run /sbin/ldconfig to update the
path settings.
