Warning this bug is still present in openSUSE 13.1 RC2, and I think it affects
all users with an ATI Radeon HD 5000 series card.
I have tested "openSUSE-13.1-GNOME-Live-Build0084-i686.iso" image, sometimes
system does not boot, sometimes boots, but Xorg is very unstable and crash very
often, for instance, resizing a window.
A good way to reproduce the Xorg crash is to open Yast and trying to resize its
window.
This card is expected to work well with no propietary drivers, it does in
previous openSUSE releases and in any other distribution.
I will provide some attatchments.
Note that this bug impides the system installation in graphical mode, because
Xorg usually crash during some Yast installation step, that having good luck if
the system does not hangs before Yast to appears.
