https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=848777 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=848777#c0 Summary: automatic creation of /etc/named.conf.include fails Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: RC 2 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: mike@m-buchau.de QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=565957) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=565957) Proposed fix for script createNamedConfInclude User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0 The script /usr/share/bind/createNamedConfInclude (part of the bind package) still attempts to source the non-existing file /lib/YaST/SuSEconfig.functions (removed in 12.3). This breaks the automatic creation of named configuration include files. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create named configuration include files (e.g. /etc/named.d/master.conf) 2. Edit /etc/sysconfig/named, NAMED_CONF_INCLUDE_FILES=" master.conf " 3. Start named. The rc script runs /usr/share/bind/createNamedConfInclude to update /etc/named.conf.include Actual Results: The file /etc/named.conf.include is empty due to the bug in createNamedConfInclude Expected Results: /etc/named.conf.include should contain a statement include "/etc/named.d/master.conf"; -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
