--- Comment #8 from Guido Berhörster
I have installed all debug packages required by gdb, but as the crash is random, I have been unable to capture it yet. I got one outside of gdb, though.
Is there a procedure to capture backtraces when a program crashes, called outside of gdb, ie, from the hot key "ALT-F2"?
xfce4-appfinder is a daemon, after being started once e.g. from the menu or via Alt+F2 it runs in the background, you can attach gdb to it following the instructions in the wiki. It would also be useful if you tried to reproduce with the xfce4-appfinder 4.10.1 package from the X11:xfce repo, according to the changelog two crasher bugs were fixed. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
