YaST2 logs from 13.1 milestone 2 installation stage 1
I installed openSUSE 13.1 milestone 2, but it did not try to download any files
during the on-line update step in the second stage of installation (after
reboot into installed system on the hard drive). This is different from
milestone 1, which downloaded a number of files during the stage 2 on-line
update.
Consequently, I could not get the system to freeze like it did in the milestone
1 installation. For milestone 2, I disconnected the network cable during the
"Refresh sources" step of the on-line update, then plugged it in again after a
few seconds. YaST2 continued refreshing after the reconnection.
This stage 1 log was written to a USB stick mounted as /var/log/.
I'll attach the stage 2 log taken from the hard drive right after installation
finished.
