https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=814642 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=814642#c0 Summary: Weird brX devices created which delay boot Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: msvec@suse.com QAContact: jsrain@suse.com CC: mfilka@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- During a fresh installation of 12.3 I have got a couple of bridge devices created, and apparently br1 is connected to a wireless device which during boot does not get an IP via DHCP and thus delays the boot process by 60s or so. What's the purpose of those br devices in the first place? Either we should not create those automatically or if yes, they should get the same setup as the main device (this is notebook so everything is controlled by NM). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
