https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=812447 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=812447#c0 Summary: Incorrect SELinux label for /dev/xconsole Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Factory Version: 13.1 Milestone 0 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: vcizek@suse.com ReportedBy: vcizek@suse.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- The /dev/xconsole device is created by rsyslog's init script. It inherits the default SELinux label for files in /dev: device_t. The label should be restored to xconsole_device_t. Otherwise, with SELinux enabled, rsyslog is denied write access to the device. Calling "restorecon /dev/xconsole" in the init script should fix it. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
