https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=812227 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=812227#c0 Summary: Antique XSysinfo data in /etc/X11/Xresources Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.3 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 12.2 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: bnc-team-xorg-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: mjr19@cam.ac.uk QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0 The global Xresources file, /etc/X11/Xresources, contains data for the xsysinfo application. It would seem better that application-specific resources were placed in /usr/share/X11/app-defaults However, this is a rather unusual case, as SuSE does not ship xsysinfo, either as a standard part of X11, or an extra package. I suggest simply removing the Xsysinfo resources from this file, whose last modified date is 2009. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. grep -c XSysinfo /etc/X11/Xresources Actual Results: 25 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
