This is suggested in the Yast network tool during network setup, worked for me long time. Running the script the kernel paniks. Then I tried to install the package "b43-firmware" from Packman-repo with Yast/zypper. It also causes a kernel panik. Then I download the package direkt from Packman and installed it with "rpm -i b43-firmware". This worked. And I got wlan up.
