In a shell I see $http_proxy etc is set, so the proxy settings are known. firefox prefs show "use system proxy settings" konqueror connects directly as well. no idea if thats a regression from 12.2. And I see in "System Settings" Network,proxy that no proxy is selected... The proxy handing in there is weird, if system proxy is selected then all it shows is a list of variable names? But in the end konqueror did still not use the proxy.
