https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=810339 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=810339#c0 Summary: Wireless Settings features a non-functional "Settings..." button Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: gp@suse.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: Product Management Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=530477) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=530477) Screenshot of Wireless Settings dialog See the attached screenshot for an example. When hitting that button in the lower right corner, nothing happens at all. Debugging this a bit I found that this is only the case when I am logged in as a second user on the system, "consuming" the network connection of the primary user. It makes sense not to allow changing the settings in this case. From a UI perspective, the "Settings..." button then should not be visible or at least greyed out, however. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
