To day after update bubuntu in suse 12.2 kde I have done this in a terminal
pierre@linux-ftyb:~$ sudo os-prober
root's password:
No volume groups found
/dev/sda1:Windows NT/2000/XP:Windows:chain
/dev/sda5:Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS (12.04):Ubuntu:linux
/dev/sda9:openSUSE 12.3 (x86_64):SUSE:linux
pierre@linux-ftyb:~$ sudo mount /dev/sda7 /mnt
pierre@linux-ftyb:~$ sudo os-prober
No volume groups found
/dev/sda1:Windows NT/2000/XP:Windows:chain
/dev/sda5:Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS (12.04):Ubuntu:linux
/dev/sda7:Ubuntu 12.10 (12.10):Ubuntu1:linux
/dev/sda9:openSUSE 12.3 (x86_64):SUSE:linux

What can i do to help to solve this problem, as you can see, on an other
directory ( sda9) Suse 12.3 is installed since yesterday I will repeat the
operation on suse 12.3
