The error says it all - "The specified license string is not recognized".
Whoever wrote the spec file chose "Beerware, Cardware, Shareware" as license.
This won't work for a number of reasons:
(1) Beerware is not recognised
(2) Cardware is not recognised
(3) Shareware is not recognised
(4) the commas between the licenses are not recognised as operators ('and' 'or'
are recognised operators)
The applicable license of xv is also none of the above. The text is:
/*
| * Copyright $YEAR, $YEAR by $OWNERL
| *
| * Permission to use, copy, and distribute for non-commercial purposes,
| * is hereby granted without fee, providing that the above copyright
| * notice appear in all copies and that both the copyright notice and this
| * permission notice appear in supporting documentation.
| *
| * The software may be modified for your own purposes, but modified versions
| * may not be distributed.
| *
| * This software is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranty.
| */
I'd recommend that the license should be:
License: SUSE-NonFree
That should allow the package to build successfully.
