https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=801673 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=801673#c0 Summary: Help does not work for Gnucash in KDE, even when "yelp" is installed. Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.3 Version: RC 1 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: SUSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Documentation AssignedTo: ke@suse.com ReportedBy: hacker@scarlet-jade.com QAContact: ke@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:18.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/18.0 I clicked on the help button in Gnucash and tried to get the tutorial but the KDE panel came up to say that there was no documentation. I then checked that the documentation had been installed - yes - and that yelp was also installed - yes. I then asked for help in the opensuse.org.help.applications newsgroup and jdmcdaniel3 suggested: ======= Code: -------------------- sudo mv /usr/bin/gnome-help /usr/bin/gnome-help.bak -------------------- And copy yelp over to the name openSUSE expects: Code: -------------------- sudo cp /usr/bin/yelp /usr/bin/gnome-help -------------------- ======= This has worked but he did wonder whether the fix might cause other problems. He also thought that this problem dated back to openSUSE 10! I can only say for sure that it occurs in 12.2 and 12.3 beta-1.
