--- Comment #14 from David Kerkhof 2012-11-16 14:07:35 UTC ---
I have the same problem here and it is a major problem because of the resulted
corrupted filesystem. To check and repair the damage I wrote a little script,
which I run by loggin out and immediately into the root account. The script
unmounts the home dir and then runs an fsck.
What I found is the following: it will often not unmount because it says
filesystem is busy so I run fuser and find pulseaudio is still running there.
If I wait a few seconds more pulseaudio stops normally and I can repair the fs.
For me the problem started with faster laptops, my previous one was a little
slower and gave enough time to shut down pulseaudio during shutdown and never
gave problems, my new laptop and the one of my daughter are both faster and
thus give the problems.
I tried to solve the problem by a script at shutdown in kde to stop pulseaudio
but that created only more errors in the fs, so maybe systemd has to somehow
wait a few seconds more before unmounting the loop device at the end of the
shutdown cycle. I prefer to wait 5 seconds than having a corrupted fs.
Hope this helps
