Hi Matt,
Unfortunately I had no time to play with new kernel's but I did google the
problem again (with a network where I could not disable n on router, and found
this: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=804259#c9
basically it's:
$ cat > /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi.conf <<-EOF
options iwlwifi power_save=0 swcrypto=1 bt_coex_active=0
EOF
$ sudo modprobe -r iwlwifi
$ sudo modprobe iwlwifi
no need for `11n_disable=1` this is yet another card and the same problem, I
also had a chance to work shortly on an laptop with "ath9k" (i'm writing from
memory).
maybe it would be possible to turn this options on by default on all cards that
support them? - this is an overall kernel issue in my opinion, not every single
driver, they all fail.
Thanks,
Michal
