Normally data can be stored on this device, even an application can normally be stored here and taken to a compatible computer and run from there. However under openSUSE 12.1 livecd the utillity of the flash drive is greatly reduced due to a bug that prevents the execution of files stored on the flash drive. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Mount flash drive (mount /dev/... /mnt) 2. Try to execute program (cd /mnt; ./some-executable) Actual Results: The file is not executable and cannot be properly flagged as such Expected Results: A file stored on a filesystem might not be executable (x flag) by default, however it can be set by the chmod command e.g. chmod a+x some-executable. In this case this command fails to change the flags assigned to the file -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
