It works well: I can login by both login and kdm. Nonexistent home directories are created, too. Stat, ls and even dolphin can correctly display the owners and groups of files. Wbinfo also gives me the correct details of active directory users. However, finger and getent give no results from the active directory, only from the local files. These programs seemingly got some incorrect information or error message from /var/lib/samba/winbindd_privileged/pipe Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Join an active directory domain 2. Issue getent passwd of finger USERNAME Actual Results: No results from active directory Expected Results: Results should come from local and networks sources as well.
