--- Comment #8 from Henrik Kuhn 2012-05-03 12:58:47 UTC ---
a grep with '30964 INODE' does point to the file 'ctraltdel2k-disk1.vmdk':
ctrlaltdel:~ # grep -A1 '30964 INODE' /tmp/btrfs-debug-tree.dump
key (30964 INODE_ITEM 0) block 68265410560 (16666360) gen 35938
key (30964 EXTENT_DATA 479232) block 68171919360 (16643535) gen 35795

these entries belong to the chunk uuids:
dd730735-f7dd-4bf7-8467-3c8181e666c5
dd730735-f7dd-4bf7-8467-3c8181e666c5
what would happen if I copy this file, delete the original one and rename the
copied back? this should release all references from the inode 30964 and thus
from its orphan links?
but then why does a scrub also does not report an error?
ctrlaltdel:~ # btrfs scrub status /home
scrub status for a288fcff-28c8-4764-8efe-1e0cb205d588
scrub started at Wed May 2 12:03:15 2012 and finished after 506
seconds
total bytes scrubbed: 27.33GB with 0 errors
