This doesn't prevent me from logging in, but I'd like to know what's wrong and get it fixed. I suspect this has to do with Gnome not being installed. I'm almost sure I already hit this problem when installing openSUSE 11.3, unfortunately I just can't remember what I did to work around it. What I tried already: * Uninstalling preload and its kmp. Did not help. * Installing hal, after seeing a complaint about it missing in the log files. Did not help. * Enabled gdb debugging.
