The currently available latest version is 8.950-1. The driver is called "fglrx_xpic_SUSE114 - X Window display driver for the AMD graphics accelerators". Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Upgrade the driver it will happen. 2. 3. Actual Results: It still starts up to the login screen. I couldn't see any errors in the logs unfortunately. However, what happens is that instead of all of my 6 screens showing in order (2 x 3 grid) they all say "freq. out of range" except screen 6. That screen shows almost as it should but the display memory seems to be corrupted because the nice smooth green you usually see just looks chopped up and moved around a little. Almost like parts of it had static interference. I can log in even though I cannot see the log in screen just by using known key presses to do so however doing so doesn't bring back the other 5 screens so I can't really do anything at all once logged in. Expected Results: Nothing to change, keep working as it does with older version of driver.
