https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=751127 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=751127#c0 Summary: Gnucash crashes when adding or editing scheduled transactions Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: arthur@kingofthebears.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:10.0.2) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0.2 Opening a scheduled transaction and immediately clicking "OK" will crash Gnucash with a segmentation violation. Editing or adding and clicking "OK" produces the same results. This bug has been around awhile but I do not see a report for it specifically. I first saw another person mention it in: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=724917#c10 Comment #58 in the same above bug report stated that the scheduled transaction editor was working in the version he was using from Petr. I'm using a very current version gnucash-2.4.10-32.7.x86_64 which is from GNOME factory and "was built from r21973 on 2012-03-06.", however, this bug as I said goes back awhile. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Actions->Scheduled Transactions->Scheduled Transaction Editor 2. Add -> OK (doesn't crash) but when you go to save your file the terminal where I started it says: "gnucash: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/libgnc-backend-xml-utils.so.0: undefined symbol: g_thread_create" (file is not saved) 3. OR - edit existing transaction -> OK -> immediate crash "Segmentation Violation", no other info in terminal window. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
