Ok,
disclaimer: this might eat your system!
Within mozilla:experimental there is a package MozillaThunderbird.
(default note to make: you have to include the mozilla repository as a base in
addition to fulfill some dependencies; this is basically NSPR and NSS which are
basically "no-risk".)
It is identical to the normal package in mozilla:beta (therefore it's currently
version 11.0b4) but has the KDE specific changes to Gecko/Toolkit. Please note
that Firefox has some browser specific changes in addition (read: more
changes). I'm not a KDE user so I'm not sure what KDE specific changes we need
in addition to those applied to core already.
So what I would need to know:
- does it work at all?
- what stuff still is not really KDEish compared to Firefox?
- is there any issue with running Firefox and Thunderbird in parallel
(as both are using kmozillahelper for their actions)?
