https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=749624 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=749624#c0 Summary: inst-source-utils mk_changelog fails on leap year Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: BuildService AssignedTo: lrupp@suse.com ReportedBy: sbahling@suse.com QAContact: adrian@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- This is actually a bug against inst-source-utils, but it is affecting me with KIWI builds in OBS so I am filing the report here. When building a KIWI image today I hit the following error: [I] Running mk_changelog for base directory Day '29' out of range 1..28 at /usr/bin/mk_changelog line 38 [E] /usr/bin/mk_changelog finished with errors: returncode was 255 Checking the mk_changelog script from inst-source-utils the error is in the following code: my $min_date = timelocal(0,0,0,localtime->mday,localtime->mon , localtime->year+1898 ); This called timelocal with today's day and month for year 2010. Feb 29th did not exist in 2010 ;) I am not sure where the current source is maintained so I could not check if this has been fixed, but the bug is in the inst-source-utils that comes with 12.1. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
