Hi folks,
based on the valuable hint from Tobias I downloaded the source rpm from #4
(4.4.4) and rebuilt.
However, the results remain the very same. Please see
rpmbuild -ba gnuplot.spec > loggnuplot
attached. This bug cannot be assigned resolved as it is not resolved - no
change in behaviour, here. Please do a test build as user.
The bug pops up where the library path should be set to /usr/lib64, but
actually is set to /usr/lib for whatever reason. I still guess this is an issue
with autoconf as the very same package builds flawlessly on openSUSE 11.4.
Please note, the build process does not break due to missing files, but due to
a missing path assignment in the Makefile created by automake / autoconf in the
src-directory.
Thank you for looking into this,
take care
