You can see my email address here. Feel free to discuss further via private
mail. I'm going to close this bug but give you a few comments already.
Firefox Beta is usually available from OBS mozilla:beta repository. After a
stable release it also takes some days until I catch up after release work so
mozilla:beta does not have 11b yet (expect it in a few days).
Also mozilla:beta is not updated nightly for several reasons:
- beta is under release control; so it gets beta numbers and tags which I
follow
I sometimes manage to provide Aurora builds but this highly depends on my time
and how much work "beta" consumes. So for example during 10.0 beta I wasn't
able to provide 11.0 Aurora because 10.0 caused some work.
(And actually 10.0 has no feature parity to earlier versions yet as for example
the KDE integration is not completed yet).
So building beta and aurora channels is not that easy because the openSUSE
specific patches need to be ported usually (it doesn't make much sense to
provide aurora as it comes from mozilla.org because for the user just getting
it from there would be fine if there wouldn't be any difference).
So in principle mozilla:beta has beta channel builds and mozilla:alpha has
aurora builds (the repos were used years before "Aurora" was known so the name
doesn't match).
BTW, the real work is done here:
http://www.rosenauer.org/hg/mozilla/
as managing the patches there is much easier than manually just from the OBS
sources. If you like to get further details, just contact me by mail.
