--- Comment #11 from Klaus Slott
I've update samba-client package today
Oops .. Sorry I was not clear on this subject. My problem was with the samba server package. After basic client install I just remove packages related to samba server. After this I have not seen boot delay or failed network.service on my 2 test installations. The original samba-client package works without problems on my systems ... is samba-client involved in the boot sequence anyway? This was also the reason I raised the question why is the samba *server* package installed at all. I guess most people who want to run a samba server will be prepared to select and install it when needed. Only samba-client should be included in a basic install. On the other hand I dont think the problem is neglectable as some of us do need a samba server and installing it breaks systemd boot. But at this time I have not tried to run a server services like samba on 12.1, as I have enough troubles making 12.1 work as clients in a nfs/kerberos setup Forgive me my lousy english, please write if I need to clarify further. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
