https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=742757 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=742757#c0 Summary: Peripherals not turning on after sleep mode Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Factory Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: picowhit@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=472197) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=472197) Screenshot of my computer specifications User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:9.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0 I can restore from RAM with the power button but none of my peripheral devices work once I have done that. They aren't turned on and are not responding when I press them or reconnect them to the computer. Also, when suspending to disk (hibernate), the computer doesn't turn itself off. I have to do it manually. When I turn the computer on after that, I notice my session wasn't saved either. It just skips the GRUB menu and goes to the login menu, as if I rebooted instead of hibernating. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Activate sleep/hibernate mode 2.Restore Actual Results: 1. Devices remain deactivated/Session not saved 2. Computer does not turn off when hibernating Expected Results: 1. Devices should work/Session should resume 2. Computer should turn off when hibernating -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
