https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=741400 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=741400#c0 Summary: konqueror renders text-align=justify HTML paragraphs badly Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: polbrian@orange.fr QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=471247) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=471247) test files and screen copy User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1 Rendering HTML elements with style text-align = justify, konqueror computes the total white space to add and divides this in the correct number of spaces, but it adds this value only to those intervals between words which have more than one space, tab or line characters. The result is generally a bad rendering of justified text. Even if there is more than one \s character, the spacing is not quite right (look space after "Duis" in the example). Reported to KDE, but it seems that the bug is somewhat specific to some distributions: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=291277 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open the test file with konqueror 2. 3.
