https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=738603 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=738603#c0 Summary: LXDE: no "switch user" option when using LightDM Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: LXDE AssignedTo: andrea@opensuse.org ReportedBy: nobange@poczta.onet.pl QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686) AppleWebKit/535.10 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/17.0.952.0 Safari/535.10 SUSE/17.0.952.0 LightDM supports user switching, but LXDE doesn't seem to recognize it. Button "Switch user" appears only if gdm is set as display manager. Since gdm isn't working anymore for me (greeter doesn't show up), LightDM is the only alternative for someone, who use LXDE only and need to switch between users logged in. I didn't test what needs to be installed to see the gdm-greeter but it's not relevant in this case. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install LightDM and set it as Display Manager 2. Run "lxsession-logout" Actual Results: There's no possibility to switch users Expected Results: Button "Switch user" appears with LightDM too -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
