thanks for your comments! Nothing new so far, just some summary comments:
The content of the dhclient-script after corruption is "redirecting to
systemctl".
This string is from the systemd redirection code used in /etc/rc.status:
echo "redirecting to systemctl" >/dev/stderr
that is used (sourced) by any /etc/init.d script. The dhclient itself executes
"/etc/init.d/syslog reload" when the hostname were changed. It also executes
netconfig to update system settings and netconfig restarts ntp (named & ypbind
in some cases too).
Further, it executes ifup foo0 -o dhcp that executes e.g. the if-up.d scripts,
where further services may get restarted (e,g. nmb).
Last but not least, it seems to happen while lease renew...
