I've noticed it when it starts up, that it is unresponsive for several minutes. The UI does not respond to mouse clicks and overlapping windows leave their impression on the UI. I've also noticed it when FF is downloading an file to save, like a tar file the first time a file gets downloaded. It was so busy (or out) that it never put up the downloading dialog box. There have been one or two other times where the UI is not responsive, but I did not associate it with a user action or startup. I was running FF 7.0 under 11.4 and didn't not observe this issue.
