https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=718440 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=718440#c0 Summary: KDE Help Center cannot parse Docbook from Kile in x86-64 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: carlos.lange@ualberta.ca QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:6.0.2) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0.2 Trying to open the Kile Handbook in x86-64 machines fails in KDE Help Center. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Selecting Kile menu Help/ Kile Handbook, opens KDE Help Center with the message: The requested help file could not be parsed:<br/>/usr/share/doc/kde/HTML/en//kile/index.docbook Expected Results: The Handbook should open without problems and it does so in my 32b laptop. I compared the index.docbook from 32b and 64b installations and they are identical. If I start khelpcenter in a console in a 64b machine and navigate to the Kile handbook (Application Manuals/Office/Word Processor), I see the following error: khelpcenter(12686): could not start process ("--stylesheet", "/usr/share/kde4/apps/khelpcenter/table-of-contents.xslt", "--output", "/var/tmp/kdecache-clange/help/en__kile__index.docbook", "/usr/share/doc/kde/HTML/en//kile/index.docbook") Other application manuals seem to open without problems in my 64b machines. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
