Summary: Sysctl settings are not being applied on boot
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 11.4
Version: Factory
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Basesystem

My sysctl settings are not being applied on boot, although it seems that
the symlinks in /etc/init.d/ are correct.

When I run sysctl --system they are applied correctly

I am running 11.4 with Tumbleweed repository

How can I add a shell script that gets run on startup to workaround this issue?
It is quite important for me, since I need log_martians set to 0 since
otherwise my log gets flooded with those messages.

Reproducible: Always
