The standard in openSUSE 12.1 M5 on privacy using IPv6 is now that each so many
minutes a new IPv6 source address will be generated and that stateless
autoconfiguration always will be used. A report has been seen that long
standing connections suffer from these settings. This requires more control on
these settings, which should be available in YaST, Network Devices, probably in
Global Options or more advanced both in Global Options and individual device
settings.
