Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 12.1

bootloader cannot be written correctly. i tried all configs, mbr, /boot,
separate disk, on root partition.
after installing software packages there is an error "could not write
initrd...". with MS5 I could try again, the factory version as of today then
just quits to the blue/red dos-like installer.

even writing no bootloader doesn't help, as installer quits, but doesn't do the
last steps after the following reboot.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.setup installer
2.install software
3.failure when writing bootloader
