https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=715322 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=715322#c0 Summary: Icons in Virtual Desktops do not refresh in real-time Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: pablo@blueoakdb.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:6.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0 Howdy, If you configure your Pager Settings to `Display icons:', you'll see a tiny icon of the windows on your desktop in the respective pager window. When using `openSUSE 11.4', the window icons do not refresh in real-time. You can move a window and its new location isn't reflected in the panel until, say, you click the background or some other event. The same is true when using the Factory version of KDE 4.7. If I use the Upstream version of KDE 4.7, the icons are refreshed in real-time. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Ensure Pager widget is installed. 2. Rt-click within a Virtual Desktop and select `Pager Settings' 3. Under `General', select `Display icons:' 4. Open a terminal window and move it around your desktop Actual Results: Move the window around from step 4 and notice its position is not updated in the respective Virtual Desktop unless, say, you click on the desktop. Expected Results: The icon should also move in real-time. As mentioned in the Details, it does with the Upstream version of KDE 4.7. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
