https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=710231 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=710231#c0 Summary: nss-mdns not enable for ipv6 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: vuntz@novell.com ReportedBy: lnussel@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- nss-mdns only enabled mdns4_minimal. It should use mdns_minimal instead to enable both v4 and v6. Also it would be nice to move the code that mangles /etc/nsswitch.conf to a separate script instead of having it in %post. That way one could configure nss-mdns at runtime. e.g.g something like # nss-mdns-config --enable -> adds mdns_minimal # nss-mdns-config --enable -4 -> adds mdns4_minimal # nss-mdns-config --disable -> remove any entries -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
