A very similar segmentation fault is also happening on an Lenovo T410, with the

As that I am using KDE, my first thought was that this was due to the desktop
effects, however switching them off does not help. Most of the applications
work fine, but starting kmail initiates the crash however not consistenly. But
also a webbrowser can initiate the crash.
I am not sure if bug #701199
(https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=701199) is related.
