https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=705243 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=705243#c0 Summary: Xorg crashes kernel Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: lrupp@suse.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Development Blocker: --- This is an openSUSE 11.4 with latest updates on a Lenovo x220 with: * Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2620M CPU @ 2.70GHz * 8GB RAM. * Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 (rev 35) WLAN * Intel 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection (rev 04) * Intel integrated graphics 2nd Generation The kernel-desktop-2.6.37.6-0.5.1.x86_64 is not tainted - the loaded graphic modules are: i915, dm_mod, drm and drm_kms_helper. The machine hang up when it tried to transfer some data via the Wireless network - and in parallel opening a SmartCard. No interaction possible - so I decided to kill the machine via powerswitch. I attach /var/log/messages - the interesting part is IMHO starting at Jul 12 21:07:51 (even more interesting: the next line dates from Sep 3 18:50:29). But looking through the logfile, I found even more kernel Oopses. I have full access to the machine, feel free to request more input if needed. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
