https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=699817 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=699817#c0 Summary: java-1_6_0-sun: entry in /etc/mailcap broken Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Java AssignedTo: bnc-team-java@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: lnussel@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- The entries added to /etc/mailcap by java-1_6_0-sun are broken. They are in a format that was once used by Netscape. /etc/mailcap has a different format so better don't touch that file. Also, the snippet that modifies /etc/mime.types should be removed IMO. We should instead include the entry in aaa_base by default. Web servers for example do not necessarily have the package that handles a specific file type installed but want to nevertheless serve such files with correct type. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
