This cpu is classified as family14h, oprofile in opensuse seems to support up tofamily10h cpu ... Using a newer version of oprofile (from the cvs, as 0.9.6 is still the latest stable one...released in 2009) solve the issue. I took the one provided in CodeAnalyst sources which come from a cvs revision known to work with these cpus. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. opcontrol --init (as root) Actual Results: cpu_type 'unset' is not valid you should upgrade oprofile or force the use of timer mode -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
