I have upgraded to 11.4 Final x86_64. Under it, this issue is still present,
but its frequency is lower. Also, although I had already noticed that the
return to the login screen through Ctrl-Alt-Backspace was an alternative to
shutdown or reboot the system, I must state that a re-login to KDE 4 seems to
workaround the issue.
It worth to notice that it is accompanied by non operational Crtl+Esc KB
shortcut (I attach a video of this). I wonder whether some processes are
affected.
But in any case it disappears.
In my particular case, I myself can live with it, but this issue is
particularly annoying to my wife...
