https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=689286 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=689286#c0 Summary: System installed as a KVM guest freezes completely after an arbitrary amount of time Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: roystonpcarter@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.16) Gecko/20110323 Ubuntu/10.04 (lucid) Firefox/3.6.16 I have a64 bit openSUSE 11.4 guest running on an ubuntu 10.04 host. The guest will freeze completely at what appears arbitrary points, most usually when it has been left unused for a while. It will not respond to KVM force close commands and will only "close" when the host process is killed. I have a number of other guests, both Windows and Linux variants, none of which exhibit this behavior. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start KVM Guest 2.Wait a while! 3. Actual Results: I have not identified any specific steps, simple freezes at some point. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
