Xorg.0.log with the hanging GPU
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.1b2) Gecko/20110326

I experience a few times a day a hanging GPU on a MSI CR620 notebook. The hang
comes up suddenly (and I wasn't able to force it until now).
The machine usually hangs afterwards, sometimes it can be accessed via network
/ ssh.
I have a suspicion that the hangs are coming up after the machine was suspended
/ resumed several times, but I'm not really sure.
I can't see any difference between enabled or disabled desktop effects.
I can find these log entries in /var/log/messages:

Actually I'm running kernel-desktop-2.6.38.2-3.1.x86_64 (and not 2.6.37 - but
this doesn't matter, because I saw the same hangs too with 2.6.37).
I checked with Mesa 7.10.1 and 7.10.2 - no difference. I checked
xf86-video-intel-2.14.902 - always the same.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
It happens suddenly, mostly I could see it during starting of an application
like vlc, mplayer or seamonkey.
Actual Results:
The screen freezes. Sometimes the machine is completely dead, sometimes it is
accessible via network.
Expected Results:
X mustn't hang the GPU.
