Thunderbird will run for ~30 seconds or so. If run from the command line, both will give a "Bus Error" message eg: kmix unnamed app(8844): Communication problem with "kmix" , it probably crashed. Error message was: "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply" : " "Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)" " I can however, run another copy of thunderbird I have on my machine (V3.0), that I obtained directly from Mozilla some time ago. I am running 11.4 with patches as of 5 April 2011. I am not using tumbleweed on this box as yet. I noticed this behaviour a day or so ago when I started a second graphical login on my machine. kmix crashed in that session (but kept working fine in my original one). I regularly have multiple sessions, and kmix normally works fine in both. I have since rebooted my machine and I can't get either of the programs mentioned to run NB. I have tried to load the debugging symbols in the KDE crash handler, but it fails and "knotify" then crashes with a bus error as well. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.start kmix 2. 3.
