--- Comment #11 from Marius Tomaschewski 2011-04-05 13:14:01 UTC ---
No, IMO not yet fixed.
I've tested today with kernel-desktop-2.6.37.6-0.0.6.0820508.x86_64
from http://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/kernel/kotd/openSUSE-11.4/x86_64/
3999 tty1 Ss 0:00 -bash
4038 tty1 S+ 0:00 /bin/bash /sbin/rcnetwork restart
4045 tty1 S+ 0:00 /bin/bash /sbin/rcnetwork stop
4402 tty1 S+ 0:00 /bin/bash /sbin/ifdown br3000 -o rc
4495 tty1 D+ 0:00 ip link set dev br3000 down
It also happens while a hwinfo run:
4026 write(1, "\r
\r> pppoe.1: looking for pppoe", 94) = 94
4026 write(1, "\r
\r> pppoe.2: discovery", 86) = 86
4026 socket(PF_PACKET, SOCK_RAW, 25480) = 3
4026 setsockopt(3, SOL_SOCKET, SO_BROADCAST, [1], 4) = 0
4026 ioctl(3, SIOCGIFHWADDR, {ifr_name="eth0", ifr_hwaddr=00:26:b9:8e:f8:66})
= 0
4026 ioctl(3, SIOCGIFMTU, {ifr_name="eth0", ifr_mtu=1500}) = 0
4026 ioctl(3, SIOCGIFFLAGS, {ifr_name="eth0",
ifr_flags=IFF_UP|IFF_BROADCAST|IFF_RUNNING|IFF_MULTICAST}) = 0
4026 ioctl(3, SIOCGIFINDEX, {ifr_name="eth0", ifr_index=2}) = 0
4026 bind(3, {sa_family=AF_PACKET, proto=0x8863, if2, pkttype=PACKET_HOST,
addr(0)={0, }, 20
--- gets stopped here ---
or also when libvirt + kvm starts & probes the host:
4047 ? Sl 0:00 /usr/sbin/libvirtd -d -l
4070 ? D 0:00 /usr/bin/qemu-kvm -device ? -device pci-assign,?
-device virtio-blk-pci,?
4071 ? S< 0:00 [kvm-pit-wq]
