https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=684731 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=684731#c0 Summary: kmediafactory don't find mpeg2enc pacman versus opensuse numbering Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Factory Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jdd@dodin.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; fr; rv:1.9.2.15) Gecko/20110303 SUSE/3.6.15-0.2.1 Ant.com Toolbar 2.0.1 Firefox/3.0.3, Ant.com Toolbar 1.1 the result is that kmediafactory don't find mpeg2enc, but this is not the bug :-(. the library is not found because the numbering of mjpegtools is not consistend between openSUSE and Packman (or something like this, I can't be sure). Fact is YaST (or zypper up) installed the openSUSE mjpegtools (as dependency, not by user choice), when the packman version should be installed. openSUSE have (atm) 1.9.0-13.3, packman 1.9.0.0-5 (don't know what this mlean exactly). Kmediafactory can't work at all without the packman version, this should be reflected by something in the dependencies. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Expected Results: either make kmediafactory work with openSUSE mjpegtools version (even rectricted), or makes it asks only for packman version -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
