The part of the source throwing that last line suggests that device id 500 may
not be supported in 3.3.5.
Checked the ReinerSCT pages again and found RPM packages for an IFD driver
3.99.1final but no reference to the LGPL sources and no CTAPI driver :-(
I've contacted ReinerSCT about the issue.
(This type of reader is subsidized because they is is compatible with the new
german id card so we should try to make it work)
