opensuse-11.4 with linux 2.6.34.7-0.7-desktop from opensuse-11.3 now has the
same problem(!):
giant4:~ # uname -a
Linux giant4 2.6.34.7-0.7-desktop #1 SMP PREEMPT 2010-12-13 11:13:53 +0100 i686
i686 i386 GNU/Linux
giant4:~ # lspci -n | grep 0a
00:0a.0 0200: 10ec:8139 (rev 10)
This makes me wondering. So
[x] old opensuse-11.3 installation was right
[x] booting rescue system from opensuse-11.3 DVD was right
[ ] opensuse-11.4 with differen kernels (the one from 11.3 and new factory
builds are right.
So this does not look like a kernel issue?
So maybe pciutils-ids or pciutils is "broken"?
